Which Mighty Mule Models This Applies To

We fabricate and weld for every Mighty Mule swing gate opener line still in service across Anaheim: the FM135, FM145, FM350, FM500, and the newer MM series. The older FM135 and FM145 units use a two-piece mounting bracket with a simple pin joint, and those brackets crack at the bolt holes after years of torque loading. • The opener arm pulls loose from the post bracket. The bracket bolts are usually fine; what fails is the weld that holds the bracket base to the post, especially on thin-wall steel posts that were never meant to take cyclic loading.
